Katiana Arnold is not your typical college student. Her eyes are on the prize and no obstacle has proved too big or small for her to overcome πŸ† She is committed to her success, which made her college experience different from most.

She has struggled financially in the past, and has also changed majors and transferred schools to attend ISU during her undergrad. As a result, Arnold prevents involving herself on matters that could potentially divert her path. She wants other students to know that it's okay to not have the typical college experience during the time you are earning a degree and improving your standard of life πŸ‘

Katiana Arnold is set to graduate in May 2024 and we are proud to see her achieve this important, well-deserved milestone πŸŽ‰β€οΈπŸ’›

Being the only African American amongst ISU’s athletic department has not deterred Khalil Jeter at all. Instead, it has fueled his passion for his career as he is able to bond and relate with BIPOC student athletes in a special way 🏈

Khalil Jeter is currently working on an N-CORE* group project, β€œBreaking Down Hegemonic standards: Identity and value through hair,” where he will present his research at a national conference in Hawaii next year.

Through his commitment of helping others advance, Khalil Jeter has created a bright future for himself. We can’t wait to see where he will go next! πŸ‘βœ¨
