Looking ahead to 2026-2027, we will need to hire a 1/2 time band/choir teacher for the middle school, 1/2 technology teacher, and assistant teachers for our before and after school care programs for elementary students and preschool students. Coming to the Luke Combs concert on April 11? Consider parking at Ames Christian School. Call 515-233-0772 or email [email protected] to reserve your $40 parking spot today. We will open at 1 pm on April 11 and will have a port-a-potty on site. When you call or email, include the color, make, and model of your vehicle along with your license plate number. To reserve a spot, you must be able to prepay with cash or check.

Celebrating Spring and the joy of seeing new growth. Speaking of growth, Ames Christian School is accepting applications for next school year. We offer 3-year-old preschool through 8th grade, including a new program for transitional kindergarteners. We are accepting applications for all grades, except 1st grade.

Our 3rd and 4th grade students recently put on a wax museum. Each student researched a famous person and wrote a report about that person. Then, they created a one to two minute speech about the person they researched. Students then picked out a costume and designed a beautiful board to display their person. Finally, they gave their speech to family and friends! They did a fantastic job!

Our 5th-8th grade students made 3D projects in art! They did a fantastic job!

Students made prayer worship chains back in February as we celebrated the ACSI Day of Prayer. As you come into the school building, you can see the worship chains displayed in our main lobby. Please take a look at them and see what our students praised God for!

Ames Christian School was fortunate to make a trip to the Iowa Capitol on March 3 to attend the School Choice 20th Annual Celebration. Administrators, parent volunteers, two teachers, as well as fourth and fifth grade students met with area legislators, toured the Capitol and attended the rally that featured a speech from our own parent, Kelly Peuse. The main event was an address by Iowa Governor, Kim Reynolds who pioneered this groundbreaking legislation for Iowa families.
