Our club strives to build student leaders, foster industry connections and grow lifelong friendships! Dues are $10.00 annually.

Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month, September through April at 7 PM. Events the club is involved with throuhgout the year:
*Ice Cream Mixing and Selling
*Food At First
*IMAC (I Milked A Cow) at the Iowa State Fair
*Educating children and adults alike about the Dairy Industry
*Iowa Youth Dairy Coalition

HAPPY JUNE DAIRY MONTH! 🐄

This month, we're celebrating the hardworking dairy farmers, dedicated farm families, and incredible cows that help bring wholesome dairy products to our tables every day. From fresh milk and cheese to yogurt and ice cream, dairy fuels our communities and nourishes generations.

Join us in honoring the people behind the dairy industry and enjoying all your favorite dairy products this June. Happy Dairy Month from the Dairy Science Club at ISU!

Our next spotlight is…🎉HARLEY BAUMLER🎉

Harley is completing her double major in Agriculture and Rural Policy and International Agriculture. After graduation, she will be working as an Admin Coordinator at Poet Bioprocessing

Her favorite memories are meetings with Delana!

Her advice to other members is to go to the socials!!

Our next senior is...🎉EMILY ZILISCH🎉
Emily is graduating with a double major in Dairy Science and Agronomy, and after graduation, she will work as a Ration Analyst with Agri-King Inc.

Her favorite memory is the industry tours and socials our club hosts. She enjoyed getting to know other members, and it built lasting friendships.

Her advice to members is to say yes to everything. You never know what you will enjoy until you try it. You will get to meet so many new faces this way and potentially find your passion.

Our next spotlight is...🎉JADYN BELAND🎉
Jadyn will be graduating with her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science and will be attending Iowa State's College of Veterinary Medicine this fall.

Her favorite memory in the Dairy Science Club was working IMAC and "getting milkshakes 5 million times a day"

Her advice to younger members is "Get Facebook. Build friendships in the club, go to socials, and attend all you can because these years go by fast."

Our next senior is...🎉LOUIS HAMLETT🎉
Louis is graduating with a double major in Dairy Science and Agronomy. After graduation, he plans to return to the family farm!

His favorite memory was the ice skating social. It was by far his favorite club social, meeting with everyone, having fun, and laughing!

His advice to members is, "It’s never too late or too early to be involved. Go outside your comfort zone and try something new."

Congratulations, Louis, you have left a lasting impact on our club!

Our next Senior is…🎉TESSA TAUKE🎉

Tessa is graduating with a bachelors degree in Animal Science and will be attending Iowa State Veterinary school in the fall.

Her favorite memories are the Food at First shifts. Helping the community is rewarding, and watching us attempt to cook is the real entertainment. Plus, there's always lots of funny stories and conversation.

Her advice to other members is to always be open to meeting new people and trying new things! You never know who will become your best friend or what might help you learn something new!

Out next senior spotlight is…🎉ANNE SIMPSON🎉

Anne will be graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with a minor in Biology and a Dairy Cattle Production Management Certificate. After graduation, she will attend Kansas State University for a Master's in Animal Science with an emphasis in dairy nutrition.

Her favorite memories were all of the fall industry trips! It was always fun to see new places and learn new things alongside other members.

Her advice to younger members is to find an older member to act as a mentor. People in this club are always looking to give back and would love to help you succeed in this club, so don't be afraid to make connections with older members!
