Miniature floats pulled by robots? That’s how the School of Education celebrated homecoming. Students, faculty, and staff gathered in Lagomarcino Hall today to showcase their creativity in a Maker Challenge.
This activity allowed future teachers to experiment with technology and think about how they might bring similar experiences into their classrooms.

Dr. Evrim Baran, was one of the international keynote speakers and panelists at the Open Distance and eLearning Virtual Conference jointly hosted by the University of South Africa (UNISA) and the UNESCO Chair on Open Distance Learning.
Her talk, Professional Development for Online Teaching and Learning: A Human Centered Design Approach was based on the human-centered design approach for online teaching at ISU. The session was well-received and there was a lot of interest in her work by the participants.
