We will be hosting Boeing at our meeting tonight 3/31/2021! 5:30-6:30 PM This event will be on Teams, and In-person, and as always please email [email protected] if you are planning on attending in-person!

We will be hosting Grinnell Mutual this Wednesday 03/24/21 at 5:30 pm. The meeting will be in person, and online, but our speaker will be here in person this week! As always if you would like to come in person please email me!

This Wednesday 11/11/20 will be our last club meeting of the semester at 5:00 Pm via zoom.

We will be talking with Bryn, a student researcher at Colorado Mesa University! She has done a number of projects ranging from stress detecting biosensors to apps for restaurants to receive analytics about ingredient/ food patterns. She will present some of her work, but will save plenty of time for questions! Excited to see you all there!

This Wednesday at 5pm we will be meeting with Land O Lakes, headquartered in Minneapolis Minnesota!

One quick note about our meetings; As you all know our meetings have been moved to a virtual format for this semester. I understand that some of you may already be doing a significant number of classes or other clubs online I would encourage you all to join us at these meetings. With them being virtual we are able to host companies that we wouldn't be able to otherwise, and have usually been joined by upper level IT personal from the company we meet with.

All of this to say that this is an awesome way to meet people at many different companies in a far more relaxed environment than the typical career fair!

Tomorrow (9/24) afternoon from 3:30 to 6:30pm cst MIS Club is hosting a Virtual Technical Career Night on CyHire that will be open to all majors. This career night is an opportunity for students to engage with employers regarding internships and full time positions in the background of business technology.

We will have 24 companies in attendance, and the full list of companies is posted in CyHire under our event tab labeled "2020 Fall Virtual Technical Career Night hosted by the MIS Club".

Tomorrow, at 5 pm on zoom we will be hosting CyberCube! Cybercube delivers the world's leading cyber risk analytics for the insurance industry. This is a great opportunity to network with companies, ask questions, and gain valuable insight before the coming career fair next week! (The zoom link will be in a google event I will invite everyone too. This will make it much easier to join the meetings!)
