AgDiscovery at ISU 2011
AgDiscovery is a 2 week camp July 17-30 2011 at Iowa State for high schoolers interested in veterinary medicine, wildlife ecology, and animal science.
AgDiscovery is an outreach program designed to help teenagers between the ages of 14-17, learn about the many careers with USDA APHIS in plant and animal science, wildlife management, veterinary medicine, laboratory technology, and agribusiness. Participants are taught by Iowa State University professors and scientists who work for the USDA in a variety of fields. Students spend 2 weeks living at

This was a unique experience where we all got to see two new horses introduced into an established herd. The newbies were initially shunned and chased around the pen.
The 3 finalists compete for the championship of the balloon smashing contest.

We aren't allowed to post necropsy pictures containing animals but we will be providing our participants with a CD of pictures to take home with them!
