At animal learning day this morning ready to tell about the circle of manure and how farmers use it to grow more livestock feed. A little manure application bean bag toss (get the manure injected and keep it out of the stream), make a vermi compost bins (who doesn't like wiggly, jiggly worms) and recycle your food scraps to make soil like farmers use manure to build soil, and then a demonstration on how cover cropping can reduce sediment losses.
