As part of Engineer's Week, we're highlighting some of our wonderful engineers. Meet Angela Johnson.

We nabbed Angela even before she graduated from Iowa State in 2009 and she's been a great addition to the team ever since.

She says, “My favorite part of my job is that I am assigned a variety of projects to design and oversee. I get the satisfaction of watching these projects grow from conceptual designs in the beginning to final constructed products to be used by the public in the end. We use computer generated 3D models as part of our design process, and it is very rewarding to see those become real and functional. My advice for anyone wanting to pursue engineering would be to make sure you choose a discipline in engineering that you are passionate about and not necessarily the one that is the highest paying. Engineering can be challenging and intimidating at times, but as long as you are dedicated and enjoy what you are doing, success is sure to follow.”
