Today is the day! Meet us on the south campanile lawn for our second annual Run for the Sun 5k!

If you haven't registered yet - don't worry! We can still sign you up this morning. There's always room to raise more money for ChildServe!

Our second annual Run for the Sun 5k is coming up on Saturday, March 4th at 10 am!

All proceeds will benefit the Ames ChildServe Childcare Center this year.

Enactus to host first annual Run for The Sun 5K The Iowa State University Enactus club and Wells Fargo will host the Run for the Sun 5K on Saturday to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Story County.

Just TWO more days to register online so sign up today! $20 includes a tshirt and sunglasses. Walk up registrations are also accepted, however it is $25 to register. Proceeds go to the Boys & Girls Club of Story County! Join us @ 10 AM on the South Campanile lawn near the campanile on Saturday!

At least 2 or 3 hours before you start out, remember to eat a carbohydrate rich breakfast to fuel your run! Make sure there’s not too much sugar or fat, a bagel and a banana is a great choice!

Is this your first 5k? You should know it’s okay to go slow! Pace yourself, and remember to have fun!
