Iowa State University Poultry Farm

Iowa State University Robert T. Hamilton Poultry Teaching & Research Farm At least six courses are taught annually at the farm.

The poultry unit is utilized for teaching and research activities with broilers, layers, turkeys, and other avian species. Three animal science faculty and a number of faculty from other departments in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, the College of Veterinary Medicine, and from the U.S. Department of Agriculture National Animal Disease Center utilize the birds and farm facilities for their research.
