What a blessing to lead the learning of these incredible teacher leaders today in Honeoye Falls–Lima High School (and elementary and middle) on simple habits from The Teacher Team Leader Handbook!! And Pippen was definitely helpful (even when getting pets... 😀) As a matter of fact, new rule: bring the dogs!

You can't really measure how much a teacher's influence matters.
It shows up in a kid's confidence, in whether they keep trying, in whether they feel comfortable asking for help, in whether they start believing their future doesn't have to look like their past.
Most teachers never get to see the full ripple effect. A single comment, expectation, or moment of encouragement can stick with a student long after the school year is over.
Teaching was never just about delivering content — it's about shaping what students believe is possible for themselves.
