Send us photos from your time as a student at Iowa State, whether it’s campus life, cheering on the Cyclones, your favorite ISU tradition or a memory that still makes you smile. Your photos could be featured in our 2026 Iowa State Fair exhibit.

How to submit:
Email your photos to [email protected] with the subject line “Iowa State Photos.” Please include your name, graduation year if applicable, and a short note about the memory. Please submit by Wednesday, July 1.

Today starts three days of graduation ceremonies! Thousands of Cyclones will walk across the stage and receive their diploma and go off on their next adventure.

The Division of Student Affairs congratulates all graduates and we wish you the best of luck on what is next! Once a Cyclone, always a Cyclone ❤️💛

Graduate Commencement: Thursday, May 14 at 7 pm
Veterinary Medicine Commencement: Friday, May 15 at 1 pm
Undergraduate Commencement: Saturday, May 16 at 9 am, 2 pm, and 7 pm

Don't miss the LAST Styled for Success of the spring semester! On Friday, May 1, stop in to Cyclone Support Central (140 Parks Library) from 10 am - 4 pm (exit counseling begins at 9 am) to take advantage of any (or all) of these FREE services:

Appointment needed with limited walk-in availability:
• ✂️ Haircut*
• ✅ Resume Review
• 💼 Work Authorization Consultation: International Students and Scholars Office
• 📋 Exit Counseling (9:00 am – 11:00 am)

No appointment needed for:
• 📸 Professional Headshot
• 🎓 Graduation Photo: A variety of cap and gown sizes will be provided to use.
• 👔 Business Outfit

Special thanks to Office of the Senior Vice President and Provost for providing the financial support to make these haircuts free.

*Haircuts are limited to one per student, per semester. This ensures as many students can be served as possible.

Michelle Roling (pictured left), Assistant Director of Outreach at Student Counseling Services, has been awarded a CYtation Award by the Professional and Scientific Council!

CYtation awards are given to staff on campus to recognize their outstanding work and contributions.

Among Michelle's initiatives are the Field of Memories su***de awareness event, the Out of the Darkness Walk for su***de prevention, and Rock that Rock, a campus-wide scavenger hunt for rocks with messages of positivity on them.
