Our 5th & 6th Grade Enrichment students put their problem-solving skills to work during our Unplugged Coding: Human Coding Grid Challenge! 🌟 Students collaborated with their teams to design coding grids, create step-by-step directions, test pathways, identify errors, and make improvements, all while learning how computer programmers think! 🧠⚙️
This hands-on experience brought together critical thinking, communication, creativity, teamwork, and perseverance. Students quickly discovered that coding isn't just about computers,it’s about thinking logically, solving problems, and learning from mistakes! 💡

Today, Sumter County Elementary School celebrated our very first First Friday Celebration of the school year!

Our amazing faculty and staff were treated to a delicious Popcorn Bar complete with an assortment of fun and tasty toppings. 🍿 Meanwhile, our wonderful students enjoyed refreshing frosty freeze pops as a special treat! 🍧
