🌟 SCMS FFA President Emilio Saldana Recognized for Leadership! 💙💛

Congratulations to Emilio Saldana, our current SCMS FFA President, who was recognized by Superintendent Mr. Jerry Sanders and the Board of Education for his leadership and on behalf of SCMS FFA! Emilio, thank you for representing our school and chapter so well. You make our Panther family proud! 🐾

We also congratulate Mr. Brinson Brock on his hard work and success with the FFA program at SCMS. His dedication gives students opportunities to learn, serve, and grow as leaders in our school and community. 🌱

⚽ Team Spirit at SCMS! 🎉

We wrapped up Hispanic Heritage Week with Jersey/Team Day and a soccer game in the gym! Students showed off their favorite teams and enjoyed a chance to come together through sports. 👕🥅

A big thank-you to Coach Kohler, Mr. Azad, and Mr. Boothe for serving as coaches and referee and helping make the game possible! 👏

What a fun way to close a week of celebrating Hispanic heritage—with school spirit, teamwork, and plenty of Panther pride! 💛🖤🐾

🌎✈️ Dr. Stephens' Passport to Venezuela! 🇻🇪

Our Hispanic Heritage Week celebration continues as we stamp our passports and head to **Venezuela** with our very own Assistant Principal, **Dr. Sabrina Stephens!** 💙💛

Dr. Stephens has her sights set on some of Venezuela's most beautiful destinations! From relaxing on the breathtaking beaches of the **Los Roques Archipelago** 🏝️ to witnessing the incredible **Angel Falls**, there's plenty of natural beauty to explore!

And what's on the menu? **Tequeños!** 🧀 These delicious Venezuelan cheese-filled pastries are definitely worth trying!

With her interest in science 🔬 and love for beautiful scenery, Venezuela offers Dr. Stephens the perfect combination of exploration, discovery, and adventure!

🌎 **Our Hispanic Heritage passports are taking us places!** We love learning more about the countries, cultures, foods, and landmarks that make the Hispanic world so rich and diverse.

🔥 Mr. Joe Monts Is Bringing the Heat for Our Panthers! 🏈

We caught Mr. Joe Monts out back at SCMS with his big grill fired up, cooking chicken to feed the SCHS football team this afternoon!

Thank you, Mr. Monts, for being here bright and early to get the cooking done before the storm rolls in. We appreciate the time, effort, and care you’re putting into making sure our players enjoy a good meal before tonight’s game! 💛🖤

SCMS would like to say good luck to our SCHS Panthers in the Battle of the Flint this evening! Our middle school Panther family is cheering you on! 🐾🏈
