Starting this month, GSW alumni will receive important communication from Publishing Concepts, Inc. (PCI) to create an updated alumni directory. PCI is a national company with a track record of successfully partnering with universities to help maintain accurate alumni records. To gather data, PCI will contact alumni by postcard, email and phone, asking you to call and verify your information. Please keep an eye out to ensure your record is updated! Thanks to everyone who came to our Canes Brew Crew: Coffee Event for GSW Alumni yesterday! We had a great crowd, wonderful fellowship, some delicious coffee and yummy donuts. We want to especially thank the crew at Horne Pecan Company for their service and hospitality and a shout out to Bakers Dozen Donuts and Diner for the donuts!

GSW Alumni in and around Americus are invited to drop by Horne Pecan Company tomorrow (Wednesday, 7/29) between 8:30 am and 10 am for our first Canes Brew Crew: Coffee Event for GSW Alumni . Stop in for some great fellowship, a free coffee and a Bakers Dozen donut on us! Our new president Dr. Kerry Palmer will be there and looks forward to meeting everyone.

On Friday evening, July 24, the Office of Alumni Affairs hosted a social at the Windsor for GSW Alumni Association board members as well as new GSW President Kerry Palmer and his wife Robyn. The following morning, the board held its summer meeting followed by the annual assembly of welcome bags for students moving to campus August 8th!

What an unforgettable afternoon at Truist Park this past Saturday! The Atlanta Braves gave us an absolute thriller, beating the Milwaukee Brewers 4-3 with an amazing bottom-of-the-ninth walk-off two-run homer by Ozzie Albies! This, on top of our fabulous turnout of nearly 70 GSW Alumni & Friends (including our new president Dr Kerry Palmer, his wife Robyn and son Benton), was the icing on the cake. Also, many thanks to all who joined us at Over the Moon for pregame BBQ, fellowship & prizes!
