The Learning Tree Preschool

will include:

-Weekly themes based on the core areas of Self, Community, Science & Nature, and Seasons. Themes include Weather, Exercise & Fitness, Wild Wild West, Community Helpers, Under the Sea, and many more!
-Daily art projects that explore different styles and mediums.
-Daily writing and pre-reading activities, focusing on letter recognition and sounds, as well as spelling and writing their name (introduced in 3's and emphasized in 4's).
-Focus on shapes and colors.
-Learning stations, including Reading, Dramatic Play, Math, Music, Computers, Sensory Table, and more. Stations are rotated each week for variety, and are designed to complement the weekly theme, as well as enhance fine motor skills.
-Social skills development, including sharing, taking turns, raising hands, and respecting others.
-Take-Home-Reading program for children who are assessed as ready-to-read (4's class only).
-Quarterly assessments to show you what your child has learned and highlight their academic and social successes.
