Anyone else have a hard time taking pictures of themselves?! 🙈 I looked through my gallery, but this is the only image of me I could find...it's a pretty darn good one, though!

I wanted to share a few things about me to help you get to know me better...maybe something will surprise you!

I'm a mountain lover, and moving water of any kind is my jam...rain, rivers, waves, hot showers - even my phone plays river sounds while I sleep! I really hate being in water, though. No swimming for me!

I'm a big fan of 90's gangster rap 😎 And having a car stereo with good bass is a must!! I have literally bought and sold cars based on how good the stereo is!

Food is my love language 😋 I love eating, and I like cooking, but hardly ever do it. 🤷‍♀️

I graduated from college 2 years ago, but try to never stop learning. I read a lot of textbooks, and try to always stay current with research in child development and issues that affect children and families. I am starting a program this month to become a certified parent coach! I'm excited to be able to offer even more resources to families 👪 💗

I've recently taken up mountain biking as a hobby with my family, to support my son who joined the Cavemen MTB team this year! Before you think I'm too cool, I need to tell you that I'm riding an electric bike 🏍 😏 This mama nearly died on the trail with a regular bike (so out of shape, my lungs were exploding!) But I guess this shows what extremes I'm willing to go to in order to hang out with my kids!

What a fun day! Open House day always makes me nervous...so many new people to meet, and first impressions can be intimidating! The beginning of the school year is always a big deal, even for the teacher 😁 I am so excited to work with so many new families this year - welcome to our preschool community!
