One of the finest teachers, I've ever met and learned from has passed away. Affra McNeill Nelson died on May 24, 2021. She was 101. For a link to her obituary go to andersonandson.com.

She was one of the finest teachers I had the pleasure to learn from. She was gracious, yet demanding. She knew our potential and wanted us to reach it. Thank you Mrs. Nelson for all your efforts. You will be missed.

Our friend and classmate, Ray D. Pollman died on January 1, 2021. Anne Fugal Pollman, preceded him in death in May, 2020. You can find Ray's obituary at Anderson and Sons Mortuary, American Fork, Utah. Our sincerest condolences go out to his family.

I have no details at this time, but our classmate and friend, Ray D. Pollman passed away early this morning. We are saddened by this news and express our condolences to his family. When I have more information, I will share it.

Our friend and classmate, Erwin Jay Smith, died on October 18, 2020 due to complications from cancer. He married Deon Beveridge, also a PGHS Alumni. Our thoughts and prayers are with Ray D. Pollman at the passing of his dear wife Anne Fugal Pollman. Both attended and graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 1967.
