We want to give a huge shout-out to our amazing lunch team and all of the volunteers who helped make our first week of summer meals such a success!

We had a great turnout and loved seeing so many families come through. Thank you to everyone who helped prepare, organize, and serve meals. We couldn't do it without you!

We know a few families who came right at the end were unfortunately turned away when we ran out of meals. We're already working on increasing our numbers for next week and will continue adjusting so we can serve as many children as possible.

Tomorrow is the Day!

Our Summer Meal Program begins tomorrow! Stop by and pick up a FREE weekly meal box for your child. Each box includes 5 breakfasts, 5 lunches, milk, and plenty of fruits and vegetables.

A quick reminder about the QR code:

✅ The QR code will be available while you are in line.
✅ It must be completed each week you pick up meals.
✅ Please do not fill it out ahead of time.

We ask families to complete the QR code during pickup because it helps us accurately track the meals that are actually distributed. This documentation is what allows us to provide meals without requiring children to be present.

Summer Meal Distribution Starts This Week!

Please remember that meals will be distributed during our posted serving times and while supplies last.

We have planned carefully and anticipate having enough meals for everyone who attends. However, if a site runs out before the scheduled end time, we are unable to provide additional meals that day.

We look forward to serving you this summer!

In addition to our Ballard campus, we are adding a new location in Ft. Duchesne for meal pickup. Thursdays from 11:30-12:30 while boxes last. Please choose only one location to pick up meals. Open to all children and teens 18 and under.

Summer meal boxes begin in just 2 days!

To help us save money and reduce waste, please bring your empty meal box back with you the following week. We will gladly reuse clean boxes for future distributions.

Week One Fruit Feature: Cantaloupe 🍈

Each child receiving a summer meal box this week will get a whole cantaloupe. One melon can provide approximately 8–12 servings of fruit to enjoy with breakfast and lunch throughout the week!

We are getting closer to our June 3rd kickoff and are busy preparing meals, organizing sites, and getting ready for another amazing summer serving families across our communities ❤️
