Alpine District CTE

AFHS Career & Technical Education Department celebrated over 250 seniors at a luncheon on May 1st.
Students completed CTE Career Pathways and Internships, won State CTSO Competitions, and were awarded CTE Scholarships! Scoops of praise to all these Seniors. We wish them all the best in their future pathways!

The 2026 Utah FFA Convention was a great success:

We had 13 students receive their State FFA Degree - the highest award a member can receive on the state level!

Brayden Allred competed in Extemporaneous Speaking!

Nayla Frost competed in the creed speaking contest,
Our junior high conduct of chapter meeting team competed.

Jacque Szillinsky, Kiptyn Houston, Ginger Philpott, and Delilah Snell all competed in the agriscience fair and presented their projects!

Delilah Snell and Brody Frost represented us at voting chapter delegates!

Isabella Garner was simply amazing in her quest to become a state FFA officer. She is awesome!

Westlake FFA received their State superior chapter award, 5 Star Chapter award both the highest awards on the state level for chapters.

We were recognized for the outstanding swine and agriculture mechanics exhibit at the state fair

We also received the outstanding Food For America Program.

Our students were amazing and we are so proud of them!
