While our teachers take time away for maternity leave, we are looking for a loving, dependable, and enthusiastic long-term substitute teacher to join our team.

We are searching for someone who:

The first day of preschool is an exciting milestone -for both children and parents and only 6 weeks away! 🌼

Here are a few simple ways you can help your child feel confident and ready for a successful school year:

💛 Practice independence by encouraging your child to:
✔️ Use the restroom independently
✔️ Wash their hands
✔️ Put on their coat and backpack
✔️ Clean up after themselves

📚 Read together every day. Reading builds language, imagination, and a love for learning.

🎨 Encourage play! At Buttercups, we believe children learn best through hands-on play, exploration, and creativity.

😊 Practice important social skills like sharing, taking turns, listening, and using kind words.

🕒 Begin a consistent bedtime and morning routine a couple of weeks before school starts to help your child adjust to the school schedule.

❤️ Most importantly, get excited! Talk positively about preschool, meeting new friends, and all the fun they’ll have learning and growing.

Every child starts preschool with different experiences and abilities, and that’s okay! Our teachers are here to nurture, encourage, and support each child as they build confidence and develop a lifelong love of learning.
