JR Simplot Elementary is starting their annual fundraiser. This fundraiser helps pay for things like field trips, prizes, parties, guest speakers and more. Packets are going home with your child today to order ready to eat sweets and treats from Cherrydale. There are a ton of prizes that your students can earn. Please do not let your child go door to door as this is unsafe. Feel free to register on line for family and friends to purchase from you. The candy will be shipped directly to them!

All candy orders due on October 20.

Dear Families,

Please help us keep classrooms focused on learning by having your child leave toys and personal items such as fidgets, NeeDoh toys, artificial nails, nail glue, and Pokémon cards at home.

We understand these items are special to students. However, they can become distractions during class, and missing items or concerns about theft can interrupt learning. We will provide sensory/fidget strips on students’ desks and continue to support individual needs, including accommodations outlined in 504 plans and IEPs.

Toys brought to school will be sent to the office for a parent or guardian to pick up. Any items earned through PBIS or purchased from our school store should go directly into backpacks to be enjoyed at home.

Thank you for your understanding and partnership in keeping our classrooms focused, positive, and ready for learning!

JRSE PTO Meeting — Monday, October 5 at 7 PM in the library!

We’d love to have you join us as we talk about volunteer opportunities and ways families can get involved at JR Simplot Elementary this school year.

Can’t make the meeting, or meetings just aren’t your thing? That’s okay! You can still be involved. Fill out our volunteer interest form and we’ll keep you updated when opportunities come up throughout the year. Completing the form does not commit you to volunteering.
