English Picture Books Sharing Activity
1. Event Goals:
In order to enhance interaction among PalFish English teachers and students, we plan to gradually initiate some topics and hope that teachers can create moments around those topics.
We will Select and showcase the top 10 posts to share on the PalFish Teachers page and on admin Helen-Operation's PalFish Moments.

2. Event Details
Time: 20th May-25th May
How to Participate:
Teachers post moments of their favorite English picture books to the PalFish Teacher app moments.
Include the book title, a brief story introduction, and reasons you enjoy the book.
Important! 🔥🔥Use the hashtag when posting moments.🔥🔥

3. Event Process:
Before: Promote topics on Facebook and Moments. Teachers post their moments.

During: Engage with posts by liking and commenting. We encourage teachers to like and share to help each other increase visibility.

After: Selection of the 10 best moments based on compelling content and display them more publicly, allowing teachers to potentially gain more students.

Dear Palfish teachers,

Recently we asked about your opinion on payday and the majority agreed that you would like to be paid bi-weekly.
We will begin paying teachers bi-weekly in July.

The new payment structure will go as follows:
The payment for the first two weeks of the month will occur between the 18th to the 25th of the month.
The payment for the second half of the month will occur during the first week of the following month.

All salaries for June will be paid between July 1st-7th, and salaries from July 1st-15th will be paid from July 18th-25th.

We are considering future co-operation with Paypal or other online transfer systems.

Dear Palfish teachers

Admin here at Palfish has been listening to your concerns more and more recently.
One of the biggest concerns that we see people thinking about is potentially being fired.

Palfish is changing its policies.
We will work hard to consider more factors before we decide to fire a teacher.
Three complaints will no longer result in a teacher being fired unless the complaints are severe.

We also understand that when a teacher is fired for whatever reason, an immediate firing is very detrimental to their life situation. So in the future, as long as the complaints are not severe, a teacher will be given notice and will be allowed to finish out two weeks' worth of classes.

We hope that these changes will be looked upon as helpful to teachers, and we will strive to make conditions better for teachers in the coming months.

Considering the different living costs in different countries, Palfish adjusted the current salary range. There will be many students signing up for or taking classes in May and June, so many new teachers are needed!

To PalFish Teachers:

We noticed that teachers are concerned about Chinese government’s new policy on after-school tutoring in the Chinese Mainland. Some other online education companies have made announcements on their future business prospects. In the past a few days, PalFish has been actively communicating with related government departments, trying to understand the details of the new policies and timeline.

Different from some of them who are going to close their business, PalFish still holds confidence on our future development. Because PalFish is not a company who only provides services to students in Chinese mainland. PalFish has various types of services, and aims at providing services to students/customers all over the world.

In the future:
1. PalFish is an international company that provides services to students all over the world. In the future, we are going to do more efforts on our international business.
2. Enrolled students will be able to finish their package with their foreign teachers.
3. Starting the 8th August, students in Chinese mainland won’t be able to purchase new packages with foreign teachers outside of China. The trial classes with foreign teachers from now on will only be open to students outside of Chinese mainland.
4. Every month, teacher’s payment will arrive your Payoneer/bank account on time. You should not worry about not getting your money.
5. In the future, PalFish will also explore more types of services and provide teachers with different types of working opportunities.

OKC is recruiting!

1. Have experience in teaching kids English as a second language
2. Have a neutral and clear accent
3. Teaching certificate holder, at least 120-hour training time (e.g. TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, etc).
4. Can be online for more than 10 hours per week (between 6-9pm Beijing Time)
5. Preferably major in education
6. Native Speaker with a neutral accent （Europe, Australia, NZ, South Africa, North and South America all accepted）

Payment: Earn around $12.4-$17.04 per hour+incentives per hour
