The Academy has sad news to share. Karen Leopold, a long-time Fellow member, passed away unexpectedly Monday morning, February 1, 2021. Karen became a member of the Academy in 1996 and dedicated her time to educating people in the Orton-Gillingham Approach. She was an enthusiastic member contributing to many initiatives set forth by the Academy. She was tireless in her efforts to mentor and train people. We look forward to sharing more information on Karen in our spring newsletter. Our heartfelt condolences to her family and friends.
