Music Lessons and More!!!

It's springtime in SW PA--time to pursue those musical dreams--at 808 Music Haus, we're here to help you--all skill levels from beginner to touring professional. We teach guitar, bass, keys, voice and ukulele--Monday, Wednesday and Thursday noon until 9 pm. If Ambridge isn't a convenient drive for you, we offer online lessons as well.
We also have a full, backline-provided (meaning everything is already here) rehearsal space for bands looking to tighten up their show a bit. And if you need live sound (PA) for your gig, we can take care of that as well.

It’s that time of year again–things are going to be warming up soon and we’re hoping to have 8 to 10 new students here at 808 Music Haus over the spring and summer. What makes us any different than anyone else?--individualized instruction (one on one), customized (rather than “cookie cutter”) lessons and working on and learning material in which you are sincerely interested (in other words, songs that YOU like and want to learn)--my goal is to get you to WANT to practice is this is how we get there. We teach guitar, bass, keyboards, voice and ukulele–all ages (8 to 80–no kidding) and skill levels (outright beginner to touring professional)--availability is Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from noon until 9 pm. If you have the time and desire, you absolutely CAN do this. Hope to hear from you directly.
And if you are at or near retirement age, there are plenty of open time slots between noon and 3 pm–we have found out over time that older folks are some of our best students–it’s never too late!!
We also offer online lessons for those not in the immediate area (Ambridge PA).

...........getting ready for my final gig of the season (after which I hibernate until spring, with the rest of the bears).......Joey and I (GBL--GumBand Lite) will be performing at the Over the Bar Bicycle Cafe near Bridgeville (otherwise known as OTB Hastings) this evening from 7 until 10 pm--hope that you can make it--we always have a wonderful time there!! …………lying here waxing philosophical this morning–reflecting on the fact that as I close in on 70 years on this Earth, an aspect of my lengthy musical career is winding down. After over 5000 shows and having worked and/or performed in 48 out of 50 states, I don’t have very many “power trio” gigs left in the tank (rest assured, I will continue to play, perform and teach music in some capacity for years yet–God willing). Today, GumBand will be playing down in Colliers WV at the Green Acres Cafe (we LOVE this place) from 3 until 7 pm. Please do come out and see what the “old guy” (and the rest of the band) still bring to the table–you will absolutely get my (and everyone else’s) A-Game. We’re going to have a BLAST today–hope that you can join us.
