🎃 Halloween Dress-Up Day!🎃

We're excited to bring back Halloween dress-up at school this year! Students and staff may wear a Halloween costume to school on Friday, October 30th.

Please remember that all costumes must follow the school dress code. Masks, weapons, and other potentially disruptive props should be left at home.

Participation is optional, and students and staff who choose not to dress up should come to school dressed as usual. We look forward to having some Halloween fun!

I am looking for 5-7 volunteers to participate as a community agency representative in an upcoming Simulation on Wednesday, October 21, held in the Amboy High School Gym.

This interactive experience helps educators navigate the daily realities, challenges, and decisions faced by low-income families. As an agency partner, you will play a crucial role by managing interactive stations—such as social services, banks, utility companies, or landlords—that staff members engage with while assuming family identities during the exercise.

Event Details:

Date: Wednesday, October 21

Arrival: 12:15 PM – 12:30 PM

Simulation & Debrief: 12:45 PM – 3:00 PM (Concludes by 3:00 PM)

Location: Amboy High School Gym

The idea is to help our staff understand the barriers some of our students face outside of school. No preparation is required; we will provide all role instructions and materials upon arrival.

Your generosity and support means so much to our team and our student athletes.
