The Amboy school district is pleased to be participating in the Community Eligibility Program again this year, which enables all students attending an Amboy school in Kindergarten through 12th grade to receive a free breakfast and a free lunch each school day -regardless of financial status.
Parents are reminded to not send lunch account deposits unless your student has a balance due on their lunch account from prior years, or if your student will be purchasing extra milk or other ala carte items, as there is no charging allowed for these extra items.
Fee Waiver Applications are also available on the district website for families wishing to apply. An approved fee waiver will dismiss current-year school registration and technology fees as well as other class and student fees, but it does not cover lost or damaged school property or prior-year balances.
The 2026-2027 Fee Waiver Application must be filled out completely and sent to the school office or the district office along with the supporting documents as outlined in the application. Completed applications should be returned to your student's school office or directly to the district office before September 1, 2026. An email with the result (approved - denied - or more information needed) will be emailed to the person who signed the application after the application has been processed.
Of course, you may fill out a Fee Waiver Application at any time during the school year if your financial situation changes. The waiver will then apply from the date it is received until the end of the current school year. A new fee waiver must be completed every school year.
