Wow! Thank you to everyone who donated to our annual WEA toy drive! This year, the toys will go to Mattie Dixon to benefit kids in our local community. 🎁

Today was a beautiful day for the Ambler holiday parade! The WEA hosted our annual social for members which included fun games, giveaways and food. After the social, we walked and handed out candy in the parade! Thank you to everyone who shared in this fun day! ☃️

This past week Lisa Filoon, Emily Morin and Jen McMahon spent the week at the PSEA Gettysburg Leadership Conference. They participated in learning about the newest legal news, the role of AI in school and much more!

Last night, WEA Co-Vice President Teresa Abromaitis was proud to present the WEA Scholarship awards to graduating seniors Savanna DeAngelo and Rahmel Brooks. Congrats and best wishes to the graduating class of 2025!!!

Congrats to our own WEA member, Lenny Robinson on receiving PSEA’s Community Leader in Education award. The PSEA Celebration of Excellence committee chose Mr. Lenny from several other nominees to receive the award. Mr. Lenny was honored at an awards dinner last weekend with PSEA’s Board of Directors and many other guests, including Cameron Hayward, an NFL player from the Pittsburgh Steelers. Mr. Lenny attended the dinner with his father, Joseph Scott. Thank you to Sue Brown for nominating Mr. Lenny for this prestigious award!! The students and staff of our district are so lucky to have Mr. Lenny as a positive roll model!

Congratulations to Emily Morin, Blue Bell Elementary Teacher and WEA Building Rep on the completion of the PSEA Learn Lead Engage Program. We look forward to Emily using her knowledge from the program to take on leadership roles within the WEA.

Our awesome and sneaky staff at WHS celebrated an “underground spirit week” this week! Each day the students had to figure out the theme! It was a great way to slide into Spring Break!

Blue Bell Elementary celebrated Music in our schools month by forming a live band!! Staff also participated in a masked singer competition in which students had to guess which teacher was in the costume!!

Last week the 6th grade team came together for a tailgate lunch. It’s a tradition that they brought back to celebrate the Eagles playoff run. They must have been the good luck charm!
