Seeds of Joy Christian Nursery School

As we ended our school year, we received this testimonial from one of our departing families...
"Truly, it is hard to fully express how utterly amazing the “Seeds of Joy,” preschool program at the First Presbyterian Church in Ambler is. Both of my children were students there and from day one we felt we were not only part of a community, but part of a loving family. From seeing the children grow and learn, to being part of holiday events and celebrations, to reading regular updates about what the children were learning (along with the most adorable and frequent pictures) to the field trips, and even the guests that visited the school, it was such a full and immersive experience for my children! My goodness! Each year my children were instructed with kind, compassionate and remarkably patient instructors, who spoke to me on a one on one basis about their progress and even their individual needs. The school was even incredibly accommodating to having early intervention instructors and therapists work with my children, along side their team! Truly those years with “Seeds of Joy,” were ones that my children and I will never forget! What a blessing it was to be part of it, and for ANYONE even considering this program, I can only offer the very highest level of praise!! We celebrated our last day of school with a celebration of our Pre-K students moving on from SOJ. It was bittersweet to see them move on but amazing to see how much they have grown in the years they were our students. 📚📓✏️🎨

We had TONS of FUN in the SUN the last days of school this week! From bubble play to ice cream treats and sprinkler splashing! We are ready for summer!

Our frog experience in the Trees classrooms!

Our Trees ( 4 yr old classes) had some special visitors in their classrooms for the past 6 weeks; tadpoles who became peeper frogs! They learned about the frog life cycle by observing the tadpoles, journaling about their changes, making art projects and playing with frog manipulatives🐸 #experiencelearning#earlychildhoodeducation#scienceinaction#peeperfrogs#seedsofjoy

Our Sprouts classes enjoyed a cooking class with their guardians by They made home made pizza and fresh squeezed lemonade

Our learning extenders afternoon program went on a walking field trip to the Ambler Community Garden this afternoon. Ms Amy gave them a tour of the garden, they decorated some plant markers and planted some zinnia seeds. They were so 🧐 curious to see how the plants grew.

We celebrated Teacher Appreciation day at SOJ with a brunch supplied by our wonderful families! Each staff member got to grab a plate, relax and get some special surprise gifts. HUGE shout to our families for their generosity 💕🎉🍎👩‍🏫
