Thank you to everyone who supported, toured and learned in the aquaponics lab this past 10 years. The building with the lab was damaged due to the recent tornado. Our fish have been safely transferred to Evergreen farms in Harleysville Pennsylvania. Please support Temple University Ambler as it rebuilds.

How do the most vulnerable Philly teens get to college? This program helps them reach higher. Temple University’s College Bound Academy immerses Philadelphia high schoolers who are either homeless or involved in the foster-care system in the college experience, exposing them to information about possible career paths and academic majors.

Jake, a prospective Temple Owl/volunteer and aspiring marine biologist, is connecting sensors to make sure our fish are getting enough dissolved oxygen. pH, water level, and ammonia sensors will also be installed over the summer to automate monitoring our systems.
