Does your child love to build, invent, work with clay, draw crazy ideas, or turn a cardboard box into something nobody else would have imagined?

This fall at Mermaid Art Studios, we're giving kids permission to BUILD THE IMPOSSIBLE!

This is a 6-week 3D Art & Invention Lab for ages 5–12 where children will explore clay, cardboard, sculpture, recycled materials, paper construction, found objects and creative engineering.

But here's what makes this class different:

We aren't going to show 12 kids one project and ask them to make 12 copies.

We'll teach them how materials work, how to construct, how to solve problems in 3D—and then ask:

WHAT CAN YOU CREATE?

Some kids may build creatures. Some may invent machines. Some may sculpt. Some may combine materials in ways we never expected.

And that's exactly what we want.

With TWO TEACHERS, we can work with younger and older children at different levels while everyone creates together in one wonderfully imaginative studio.

This class is for the builder, dreamer, doodler, inventor, sculptor, tinkerer—and the child who hasn't discovered yet that they are an artist.
