Good morning Am-Po parents and guardians. This past spring, the Oklahoma state legislature passed a law that permanently prohibits the use of personal electronic devices during the school day by students. The policy adopted by Amber-Pocasset Public Schools can be found at: https://aptg.co/HbjgcN. The last page of the policy also has links to our online MS/HS and Elementary handbooks. You can look at page 19 (Item #539) of the MS/HS handbook or page 18 of the Elementary handbook to see disciplinary actions that will be taken. You can also navigate to www.amposchools.org and find each handbook as a link under "MENU". Nothing has changed from the policy that was adopted last year. We just wanted to remind students and parents as you get ready to come back to school.

Come join us at Amber-Pocasset Elementary on August 11 from 6:00-7:00pm for our "Meet the Teacher" Night! This is an opportunity for kids and parents to meet their teacher(s) before the first day of school. Parents are also encouraged to drop off school supplies during this time. This will give our elementary staff an opportunity to get those supplies organized before the first day of classes on August 13. This event is for any parent or student that will be entering Pre-K through the 6th grade. We can't wait to see you on August 11!
