Glute Bridge (Banded) 01/29/2025

This exercise is great for getting some beginning glute activation, which goes hand in hand with the posterior pelvic tilts for correcting lower back pains! When using the band, this exercise can also be very useful for building strong stabilizing muscles for movements like squats. In turn, the extra stabilization can help with technique and knee pain during squatting or lunge-type movements!

Posterior Pelvic Tilts 01/25/2025

Think you have lower back pains? Practicing this movement is a great starting point! Often times, folks have excessive arching through their lower back due to laxity in the lower portion of the abdominal muscles. This arching can can cause lower back/sciatic pains and make bending/twisting/extending motions painful. If this movement is difficult to do at first, then that shows what your problem is and is the first step to fixing it!

I’d recommend doing this daily, maybe even multiple times a day for at least 1-2 sets of 20-30 repetitions
