Week 6: 🏖️🍧💦SPLASH WEEK💦🍧🏖️

SPLASH WEEK was the perfect way to wrap up an incredible summer at Glow & Grow! ☀️

We made the biggest splash with giant water slides, cooled off with delicious snow cones, danced and played in mountains of foam, and made so many unforgettable memories together! 🛝🍧🫧

There is nothing better than hearing squeals of laughter, seeing smiling faces, and watching friendships grow. What a fun way to celebrate an amazing summer with some pretty awesome kiddos!

Thank you to all of our wonderful families for sharing your children with us this summer. We already can’t wait to do it all again next year! 💛✨

As we wrapped up our final day of Glow & Grow, I couldn’t help but look around this morning and feel incredibly grateful. 💛✨

What a blessing it has been to spend the summer laughing, learning, playing, creating, dancing, and making memories with each of these amazing little faces. Every hug, every silly story, every milestone, and every smile made this summer one we’ll never forget. We have the best jobs!!!

To our wonderful families - thank you for trusting us with your children. It is a privilege we never take for granted. Watching them grow in confidence, friendships, and joy over these past 6 weeks has been the greatest reward.

Week 5: 🪄🐇🎩MAGIC WEEK 🎩🐇🪄

Magic filled our halls this week as we celebrated Magic Week! Our students crafted their own magic wands and even created their own special magic trick: pulling a rabbit out of a hat!

We wrapped up Magic Week with a special performance from Magician Kyle Groves with Amarillo Magic Co.! We were all mesmerized by his skills!

His shows are family friendly so be sure to check out his schedule for shows at his storefront! It’s definitely a fun time!

Week 4:
🤩💫✨ GLOW WEEK ✨💫🤩

Last week was filled with neon colors, glowing smiles, and so much laughter! Our little learners wore their brightest clothes all week long and had the BEST time celebrating with a dance party to wrap it all up. 💃🕺

In craft class we made fireflies out of glow sticks and glow in the dark sensory bottles. So bright and fun!

Week 3:
🇺🇸 🧨 Red White & Blue Week 🧨🇺🇸

What a fantastic week we had last week celebrating America with our sweet preschool friends! Our patriotic crafts and festive outfits made sure our classrooms were bursting with red, white, and blue spirit.

Seeing all of our little ones proudly dressed in their patriotic colors made the day even more special. ❤️

💗 Pre-K Assistant 💗

Do you love working with children and want to be part of a fun, supportive team? Firefly Academy is looking for a caring, dependable Pre-K Classroom Assistant to join our preschool family this fall!

In this role, you’ll work alongside our Pre-K teachers to create a positive, engaging classroom where children can learn, play, and grow. If you enjoy helping children build confidence, independence, and a love of learning, we’d love to meet you!

Schedule:

* Tuesdays & Thursdays
* 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

* Assist the lead teachers with daily classroom activities
* Help supervise children during centers, indoor and outdoor play, lunch, and transitions
* Work with small groups and individual children
* Prepare classroom materials and learning activities
* Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom
* Encourage positive behavior using gentle guidance
* Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers

We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:

* Patient, kind, and nurturing (A MUST!)
* Dependable and punctual
* A team player with a positive attitude
* Energetic and ready to engage with young children
* Able to lift up to 40 pounds and keep up with an active preschool classroom
* A high school graduate or equivalent
* Able to pass a background check!

Salary: $10/hour (entry level)

Experience working with young children is preferred!
