The Southern District Training Trust Fund is bringing its Interior Systems & Concrete Form Combine to Amarillo. This hands-on hiring event gives you the chance to demonstrate your skills and potential directly to contractors who are looking for workers

Saturday, August 22, 2026
First session: 6:45 a.m. | Last session: 11:30 a.m.

No experience? That's okay. Instructors will be on site to demonstrate the activities and help you through them. Show employers that you're ready to work, willing to learn and serious about starting a career

Already have experience? Put your skills on display. Experienced candidates have the opportunity to demonstrate what they know and may qualify for a higher starting wage

Starting at $18/hour, up to $31/hour with experience

This isn't a typical job fair. You'll take part in hands-on activities, meet contractors, interview on site and potentially receive a job offer

Those hired can enter an apprenticeship with paid on-the-job training and classroom instruction at no cost to the apprentice, along with health and welfare benefits and a pension

Must be 18 or older. Wear a long-sleeved shirt, pants and work boots

Data Center Job Fair Coming to Childress

Looking to join the workforce building the new Childress Data Center? Workforce Solutions Panhandle is proud to co-host a Job Fair in partnership with Crusoe and Lancium to connect local talent with the primary contractors building out the new facility.

This hiring event brings together the prime construction managers, electrical partners, mechanical firms, and field contractors who are actively hiring to build out the site.
