There is no way to thank each volunteer by name that has helped make happy memories for every student at Sundown Lane this year, but we are going to try our best to do it by category.

We wrapped up the week in the most legendary way possible — by welcoming our Sundown Lane staff into the 𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙊𝙡𝙚 𝙊𝙥𝙧𝙮: 𝙈𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙊𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙎𝙥𝙖 & 𝙍𝙚𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩! 🎶💆‍♀️

Our incredible teachers booked their personal massage appointments, and the PTA transformed the computer room into a backstage spa retreat — dim lighting, soft spa music, and a quiet little getaway tucked right inside the school. Because after a YEAR of pouring into our kids, our teachers deserved a moment to just… exhale. 🌿

A heartfelt THANK YOU to Sara Shipman and her team at The Core Essentials for coming out to pamper our staff — for the 4th year in a row! 🙌 Sara, your dedication to our SDL family means more than words can say. The fact that you keep showing up for our teachers year after year speaks volumes about the kind of person and business you are. We are SO grateful for you! 💛💜

At the end of each session, every teacher was sent off with a cup of water and a personal letter welcoming them as official members of the Opry — a little love note to remind them just how cherished they are at Sundown Lane.

What a week it has been! From Dolly to Delvin's, h***y tonk desserts to Grand Ole massages, every single day was a labor of love to the heart and soul of Sundown Lane Elementary School — our teachers and staff. Midweek called for a little sugar and a lot of sweet tea energy! 🤠

Our teachers two-stepped their way into a dessert bar that was straight up chef's kiss 🤌💋— a beautiful spread of treats generously provided by High Plains Children's Home and Family Services, Inc.

From bite-sized goodies to "I'm definitely taking one for the road" desserts, our staff was in heaven. 🍪🧁🍰

And because nothing says h***y tonk like an ice-cold drink, Sicher Orthodontics rolled through with Sonic Drive-In drinks delivered straight to our teachers and staff. Because hydration + happy hour vibes = the perfect Wednesday pick-me-up! 🥤✨

Tuesday we turned up the heat with a little 𝘕𝘢𝘴𝘩𝘷𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘦 𝘏𝘰𝘵 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘯 situation! 🌶️

Our teachers were treated to a mouthwatering lunch catered by Delvin's Restaurant & Catering — and let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint. We also sent each teacher home with their very own shaker of Nashville Hot seasoning, labeled for the hottest teachers (because… obviously 😉🔥).

A HUGE shoutout from Sundown Lane PTA and all of our amazing teachers to Delvin's Restaurant & Catering! Thank you for going above and beyond to make our Teacher Appreciation Day so special. Your customer service was truly 100/10, and it did not go unnoticed. The fact that your team came in early to prepare the chicken before even opening just shows the level of care and dedication you have. 💛

Everything was absolutely delicious, and your kindness and friendliness made the entire experience feel like family. We are so grateful for your support and generosity — you helped make our teachers feel truly appreciated!
