We cannot begin to express how much we have loved having your incredible children with us this year. They have brought so much joy, energy, and growth to our classrooms, and we are incredibly proud of everything they’ve accomplished.
But now, the school year has officially come to a close. It is time for our wonderful teachers and staff to take a collective deep breath, rest, and rejuvenate for the year ahead.
So, parents... Tag, you're it! Wishing you a summer filled with wonderful memories, plenty of sunshine, and just the right amount of patience. Thank you for a fantastic year!

Congratulations to Mia Martinez and Alyiah Worden for being recognized at the Texas Panhandle Student Art Show! 🎨✨

Mia received a $50 Best of Show Award for her incredible acrylic painting of a banana. 🍌🎨

Alyiah earned a $50 Amarillo ISD Art Department Award for her creative crocheted mushroom character. 🍄🧶

We are so proud of these talented students and their outstanding artistic achievements!

Our Fannin Middle School Bands wrapped up the year on a high note at the Irons Music Festival a couple of weeks ago! 🎶

Both our Intermediate Band and Advanced Band earned Superior Ratings from every judge, showing the incredible dedication and hard work these students have put in all year long.

To top it all off, the Intermediate Band was once again awarded Best in Class! 🏆

This year the Fannin Bands took home a total of 3 Best in Class Awards!

We are so proud of the way our students represented our program at their final competition of the year. Their growth, commitment, and performance excellence made this a truly memorable day. Congratulations to all of our amazing band students and directors on an outstanding finish to the season! 🎺🥁🎷

Today we celebrate two incredible educators whose impact on Fannin will be felt for generations to come. Congratulations to Holly Wallace and Heather Johnson on their retirement! 🎉🐾

Holly Wallace has dedicated 29 years to education, all of them proudly spent at Fannin. Through her love of reading, she has inspired countless students to become thoughtful readers, critical thinkers, and lifelong learners. Her passion for education and unwavering commitment to her students have left an unforgettable mark on our campus.

Heather Johnson has devoted 32 years to education, every single one at Fannin. She has encouraged her students to embrace their creativity, discover their voices, and become true leaders. Her influence reaches far beyond the classroom, helping shape confident and capable young people year after year.

We cannot thank these ladies enough for their endless dedication, love, and service to their students and to Fannin. Their legacy will continue to live on in every student, colleague, and family they have touched throughout the years.

Today we want to give a heartfelt shoutout to our amazing school nurse, Destany Whiteley! 💙

Every single day, she shows up with compassion, patience, and a calming presence that makes such a difference in the lives of our students and staff. From scraped knees and tummy aches to offering reassurance and a listening ear, she goes above and beyond to keep our school safe, healthy, and cared for.

Her kindness doesn’t go unnoticed—she is a true blessing to our campus and a vital part of our school family. Thank you, Destany, for all you do behind the scenes and on the front lines. We appreciate you more than words can express!
