Our 4th Graders took a field trip to the Charles and Mary Ann Goodnight Ranch. They learned where the saying ‘sleep tight’ came from; How the bison was the Native American ‘Walmart’ & experienced how to use the tongue of a bison as a comb; and that rubbing the nose of the bison statue is good luck.
