I have several new pieces inspired by our beautiful Llano Estacado and travels near and far. 🌻 This particular painting is from a very special spot in Ruidoso, New Mexico in the Upper Canyon.

Spending a few days in South Carolina with all my favorite people. The green waterways, the soft air. I'm so happy.

Plein air at the canyon. And a glimpse of something new.

A few weeks ago I had a couple of reels go more “viral” than normal and honestly, it kind of weirded me out. I had strange DMs, too much attention, and I didn’t like it. I haven’t posted a reel since. Turns out, I’m just fine the way I am. 🌻 I got a glimpse of what it feels like to invite the corners of the internet into your life and how something innocent can turn into a nasty debate.

So much of social media wants you to play the game of more followers! More likes! More comments! More shares! More more more! But I like this community the way it is. I love the cozy friendship we share. And I am satisfied. That’s not to say I don’t want to make new friends. But haste makes waste. Let’s do this the proper way. Slowly and intentionally. ♥️

I love paths to the unknown. I love a meandering little road that leads us into and invites us to experience something magical. Little streams and rivers, a gentle stroll inwards, maybe just flowers guiding us. Another September feeling piece. Maybe even October? The mornings are cooling off (but still replaced with blazing heat). The seasons are in negotiations.

Another in my September feeling of paintings. Soft and moody is my favorite although I also love bold and colorful, or simple and quiet.

I’m working in adding this one to my fine art print collection that will be launching soon. I want to make sure all the details are perfect.
