Christmas break is too late to begin preparing for baseball.

Playing catch 2–3 times a week, doing a little running and lifting, having coaches leave early for football, and sometimes not practicing at all on Thursdays or Fridays because of football is not a complete off-season development plan.

That may help you maintain, but it will not maximize your development.

Don’t wait until winter to get serious. Use the fall to get better.

It’s hard to have standards as an organization if no one knows what they are. The standards for YCB don’t lower to the players. The players are asked to ride to the standard. The standard is the standard.
