Opportunity School's Mission is to help young children, primarily from low income families, succeed in school and in life. We operate two campuses in Amarillo.

Opportunity School helps meet the needs of children and families with high quality, early childhood education and caring family support. We are focused on providing the best learning and care for children in our community, especially those living in poverty. ion for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Our Grand Street Campus is an Early Head Start and Head Start Campus. Daily meal service and snacks are provided in partnership with the High Plains Food Bank Kids' Cafe. Fresh, homemade food is prepared for all ages to meet the nutritional needs of our young students. Our full-time speech therapist works with children at both of our campuses to help enrich their learning and language development. Fees vary depending on age of child and income level. This morning, we had the joy of celebrating the wonderful families that make up our Opportunity School community during our Fruits for Families event!

At Opportunity School, we know that families come in many forms, and every child is surrounded by people who love, support, and encourage them. Today was a special opportunity to gather together, share breakfast, make memories, and celebrate the diversity that makes our school family so unique.

♻️🚗 Recycling + Creativity + Family Fun = Success!

Our Pre-K classes wrapped up their recycling unit by inviting families to create and decorate cars from recycled boxes. The grand finale was a transportation parade around campus, where students proudly showcased their incredible creations.

We loved seeing so much imagination, teamwork, and school spirit on display!
