Opportunity School Opportunity School's Mission is to help young children, primarily from low income families, succeed in school and in life. We operate two campuses in Amarillo.

Opportunity School helps meet the needs of children and families with high quality, early childhood education and caring family support. We are focused on providing the best learning and care for children in our community, especially those living in poverty. Opportunity School's Central Campus in downtown Amarillo (within First Presbyterian Church) is nationally accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Our Grand Street Campus is an Early Head Start and Head Start Campus. Daily meal service and snacks are provided in partnership with the High Plains Food Bank Kids' Cafe. Fresh, homemade food is prepared for all ages to meet the nutritional needs of our young students. Our full-time speech therapist works with children at both of our campuses to help enrich their learning and language development. Fees vary depending on age of child and income level.
