Congratulations to Amarillo College Respiratory Care Clinical Instructor, Criselda Chavez! She is the recipient of the Pulmonary Health and Illness of the Lungs (PHIL) Award this year at BSA.
We are so very proud of the work you do for your patients at the hospital and for our Respiratory Care students!

The Class of 2026 made and assembled holiday treats for our local clinical partners. We thank our clinical sites, our Respiratory Care program would not be possible without you! These 15 students will graduate in 6 short months!

Amarillo College Respiratory Care program was well represented by clinical instructors Reyna Herrera, Brittiany Arceneaux, and Respiratory Care student Jordan Le during the Health Fair at Pampa Regional Medical Center on September 23, 2025. The group taught proper use of peak flow meters and gave away spacers for attendees that use metered dose inhalers.

AC Respiratory Care had a wonderful day speaking with juniors & seniors at the BSA Youth Summit at AmTech.

With sadness, we have learned that Lisa Eaves, Respiratory Care Class of Amarillo College 1992, has passed into eternal rest. Prayers for her husband, Dennis and their family.
