Austin Johnson's Academy of Hoops

The Special Olympics Basketball Camp was truly one of my favorite camps I’ve ever been a part of. Seeing these athletes come into the gym with huge smiles, work hard, encourage one another, and simply enjoy the game of basketball was something special.

The energy, effort, and joy they brought to the court reminded all of us why we love this game. Watching them learn, compete, and have fun made for an unforgettable experience.

A huge thank you to my amazing coaching staff for helping make this camp a success. I also want to thank the Special Olympics for giving us the opportunity to be involved in such a meaningful event.

Days like this are bigger than basketball. The smiles, friendships, and memories made today will stay with me for a long time.
