How You Can Prepare
Stay home if possible. If you must travel, slow down, increase following distance, keep your gas tank above half, and carry an emergency kit. Dress in layers, limit outdoor exposure, bring pets inside, check on neighbors, charge devices, keep flashlights handy, and use space heaters safely. Preparing ahead helps keep you safe and allows city crews to focus on critical needs.
