As a family owned and operated school for over 44 years, we care about your continued success and make sure you are ready to work at any salon in all capacities. The Exposito School of Hair Design was originally established in 1977 by Fred and Jimmy Exposito. The school is nationally accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences. Located 1 block east of Western Street at 3710 Mockingbird, the school is centrally located in Amarillo, Texas. Exposito School of Hair Design is the only beauty school in Amarillo with a history of five generations of hairstylists in the family. Instruction is provided by a large instructional staff with over 75 years of combined experience in Cosmetology. Instruction is enhanced using the the modern advances of DVD, Power Point and computer- interactive learning. Exposito School of Hair Design is a Pivot Point member school teaching the internationally acclaimed Pivot Point curriculum of cosmetology. This scientific approach to teaching the art and science of cosmetology reinforces the school's commitment to each student's success. The school is the most reasonably priced private schools in Amarillo and financial aid is available to those students who qualify.

A Fond Farewell After 48 Years

After proudly serving the community for 48 years, Exposito School of Hair Design is officially closing its doors as the owners enter retirement.

Throughout the decades, it has been our joy to help shape careers, boost confidence, and foster lifelong friendships. We are especially grateful to the incredible staff, students. and clients who made this journey so meaningful.
