ATTENTION! The City of Amarillo is changing the Utility Billing System!
Utility Billing is launching a new Billing System this week! This change affects all customer accounts and includes new system features.
What’s new:
• More customer service options
• Multiple ways to pay online
• Access to a water usage portal to track and monitor your consumption
If you use the current online billing system:
• Your previous login did not transfer
• You will need to create a new online account
• Previous AutoPay and scheduled payments will not process
• You must re-enroll in AutoPay if you want to continue automatic payments
• Your April bill will need to be made manually when your statement is available in the new system
If you pay by phone, in person, or at a drop-off location:
• You can continue using those same payment methods
• Your account number is the only change
How to find your new account number:
• On the April bill that will be sent to all customers
• By using the account number lookup tool that will be available on our website
Late fees will be waived through May for most accounts (excluding accounts already 60+ days past due)
