You might think Brent was rehearsing for “Dancing with the Stars” but, no!
He’s asking students:
Can you use this feel to guide your horse?
Can you use this timing to feel/guide the feet?
Can you ride in 1 hand and guide with your body?
Can you ride a bigger circle, then a smaller circle keeping the same rhythm of the footfall?
Can you ride a tight circle without crowding the center of the circle?

Brent (aka Annie’s Dad) has returned home from clinics in Oregon and Washington! A big thank you to our wonderful hosts, Kim Ewalt in Oregon and Lynnae Berg in Washington, for all their hard work and hospitality. We appreciate everyone who attended, and we're grateful for the opportunity to spend time learning, riding, and sharing good fellowship together. Safe travels to all who joined us, and we hope to see you again down the road!

FLASHBACK to 2014. Funny story: At one point Bettina Drummond commented, "Why is it the only person in here who knows how to pet a horse is the Cowboy". 😂

This past weekend was 'continuing education' time. Brent and Kris attended a Bettina Drummond (Classical Dressage) 2 day demonstration in Connecticut.
We look forward to getting together with Bettina again to learn more and share ideas.

Congrats to Singleton Ranches and Weston Griswold. This horse was halter started in one of Brent's Young Horse Handling classes by Jana Rossorelli back in 2022. His name during class was "Flex". Always fun to see the babies all grown up and doing what they were born to do.

Congratulations to Weston Griswold and SCR Spear of Heaven on winning the 4K Limited Class at the Palo Duro Cutting Horse Association show today! 💥
