Attendees can receive glucose and blood pressure checks, medication safety education, basic assessments, sports physicals and healthcare packages.

The collaborative event brings together the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine, TTUHSC-Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Health Professions, Texas Nursing Student Association and Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine, all working together to transform and support healthier communities across the Panhandle.

As one group of future nurses celebrates graduation, another begins the journey!
The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing in Amarillo welcomed new level 1 traditional BSN students for a meet-and-greet before they begin their nursing school journeys. School of Nursing Regional Dean Louise Rice, DNP, RN, joined team members to share important information about the program and available campus resources. Upperclassmen shared advice and encouragement, helping create a supportive learning environment as students begin their nursing education.

Registration is still open for 𝗥𝘅 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽 at the TTUHSC-Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy! The summer camp is a STEM-driven college-prep experience designed for 9th-12th grade students interested in learning more about the pharmacy profession on the Amarillo campus.
