Congratulations to our newly installed D3 SkillsUSA officers! Culinary Arts student, Juan Ybarra Tascosa High School was elected as the 2026-27 Parliamentarian, and Automotive Technology student, Michael Elicero Amarillo High School was elected as the Chairman.
Our D3 officer team worked diligently the past four days at Summer Leadership Camp at Deer Creek Ranch to earn their statesmen pins and plan for the upcoming 2026-27 school year.

AmTech Culinary students walked with confidence onto the floor to compete with the best in the state this past week in Corpus Christi and we are so proud of them for shining bright.

They displayed determination and grit when obstacles appeared, and they finished strong. Congratulations for competing at the state level and excelling in your craft.
We are proud of all of you.

Our HSBBQ teams had some good walks this weekend High School BBQ Inc. - HSBBQ
Congrats to our Amarillo High School boys, Juan Elicero- 1st Place in Brisket, Tristan Peters-8th Place Brisket, and Maddox Villegas 10th place ribs!
Our Route 66 Smoke team also had 7th Place in beans. The team consisted of Joade Rodriguez and Blake Yarber from Tascosa High School and J.T. Murrah and Tristan Peters Amarillo High School
Both teams, Smokin’ Storm and Route 66 Smoke will be state bound in April.
