We are so exited to announce the TIA designation for our incredible math teacher, Gretchen Treadwell! Congratulations on your accomplishment!

We would like to congratulate our Teacher of the Year, Luisa Valdez! Mrs. Valdez is an extremely valued member here at Allen as our Special Education teacher. Mrs. Valdez has worked tirelessly to serve all of our special education students, support teachers, and facilitate every single ARD. To put it simply, we would be lost without her!

Mr. Ramos's Teen Leadership class participated in Socktober last month donating over 600 pairs of socks for the homeless. This is DOUBLE the record that was set last year. The class that donated the highest number of socks got to delver them to Faith City Mission last week.

Here the students got to tour the facility, and learn about the services Faith City Mission provides to our homeless community.

Thank you for all of your work Mr. Ramos! It's great to be apart of Amarillo ISD!

Hey Ms.Treadwell! You are our Gator of the Week! Ms.Treadwell was nominated by several students for the way she makes math fun and engaging. A favorite lesson by students was when they made pancakes in class to learn about proportions! We are grateful to have you!

Shoutout to this week's Gator of the Week, Mrs.Farnsworth! Mrs. Farnsworth is also our 2025 Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Farnsworth was nominate by several students for the way she makes reading engaging and enjoyable!

We had the best time at our annual Back to School Tailgate with Mann Middle School! A big thanks to Palo Duro High School Diamonds, ROTC, Cheerleaders and Football players for coming to hang out as well. Amarillo ISD we are all family!
