Storyland Preschool is owned and operated under the direction of Karissa Ellison. We have a rich tradition of providing quality education for the residents of Amarillo. The school first opened in 1960 and has remained one of Amarillo's premiere preschools. We are committed to following the longstanding tradition of excellence and continuallly strive to enhance the program as new research becomes available in the field of Early Childhood Education. Who We Are
We are a team of over 25 caring individuals whose passion is children. All have extensive experience and continuing education in the field of Early Childhood Education. Each staff member is fully screened, fingerprinted and have a background check completed. All are certified in CPR and First Aid.

4 years of loving, teaching, and making memories with our amazing 2 and 3 year-olds! Our Storyland crew is lucky to have a teacher who pours so much love, patience, and fun into every day. She doesn’t just teach toddlers… she collects lifelong fans! 😂🥰 Her littles leave her classroom, move on to the next adventure, and somehow remain completely obsessed with her for YEARS! 💗
